Six Various Compilation CD's from Jan - Feb 2003

Back in late 2002, I purchased a Pioneer stand-alone CD recorder for putting my LP's, and Tapes onto CD. One of my favorite activities, early Saturday and Sunday mornings, was to make CD Compilations for listening to in my Van. It was fun, I listened to the tunes as I made the compilation. Like the old days of making your own cassette tapes for the car. Since then I basically just use my PC's sound card and rip directly to the hard drive. I now have an MP3/WMA CD player in each of my vehicles. And because of this, I don't make CD Compilations anymore. You know, just create a folder, dump a bunch of tunes in it and off you go. Not as much fun but very easy and efficient. The music is a wide varity of what I been listening to over the years, and since it's my compilation, it's sort of a best of for me. So, I have about sixty of these CD compilations ripped to my hard drive. I am posting six to start off here. If I get some positive feedback I'll work on posting more. Load up your MP3/WMA players and enjoy. I made some artwork in Publisher and put them in a PDF file. Track listings below.

Wow this looks good:) Downloadin' right now:) You can visit my blog, I have some personal compilations too:) Also, I see you like me - get crappy feedback too...

valentin,
I would say feedback to download ratio is less then 100 to 1. Not sure why I bother, other than I have found so much stuff myself out there, I felt the need to give back a little, and maybe make my blog a litte different, only sharing stuff from collection...
Thanks for the feedback!

Easily I assent to but I think the collection should secure more info then it has.

Have not probed your list entirely, but was just wondering:
Any Tom Jans or Chris Harford in your collection???

What This Is All About

I've been collecting live music from various sources since the mid to late 70's. Radio shows, TV broadcasts, radio show pre-FM CD's and vinyl LP's and some trades. Most of the shows posted here, I recorded and ripped myself. I always had top of the line stereo equipment and cassette and open reel recorders for those on air broadcasts.

I've downloaded plenty of bootlegged concerts from various blogs. As a rule I will only post stuff from my collection and not what is already available out there.

I also post out of print CDs and LPs from my collection.
I will repost from my readers anything someone sends me as long as it is either out of print or something that's not from someone else's blog. If you want to share a link for a cool item on your blog, or someone else's, please feel free to post it in the comments........

Enjoy and please leave a comment and pass this blog along.

Can you believe that so many out there are starving for the old WHFS? Amazing!

If you leave a comment, how about using a nickname instead of Anonymous. At least make up something please. Thanks!

I have reconsidered my position...and will re-upload dead links, so long as you go to that particular post and make the request from the comments page...
