This audio rip is from my vinyl LP of Tex Rubinowitz, "Hot Rod Man".
This album smokes from begining to end. If you like your rock and roll with hot guitars, great singing and flat out awesome good time lyrics, then give this LP from 1986 a shot. A great artist from the DC area music scene of the late 70's and mid 80's. Anyone around in those days knows how cool the music scene was way back when.
01 - HOT ROD MAN
02 - FLOOD OF LOVE
03 - FEELIN' RIGHT TONIGHT
04 - ROCK N ROLL IVY
05 - BAD BOY
06 - MISSY ANN
07 - AIN'T IT WRONG
08 - NO ONE LEFT TO TURN TO
09 - NO (NO WOLF)
Nice article about Tex from 1987:

I called my friend Lenny and asked him to go see Tex at some bar in Silver Spring. It was a week day. I got drunk and went up to Tex and asked him to play, "Feeling Right Tonite.'' Tex broke right into it. A special moment from the past. Thanks
Awesome, thanks for sharing your comments!
You can't imagine how long I have been looking for this! Thanks a million times ... and more!

It's feedback like your that keeps this blog rolling. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy!
Ahh, The Hot Rod Man! Thanks for posting this -- I'd have to pull out my copy to be sure, but I think Track 9 is actually named "No Club (Lone Wolf)". I used to work at a music store near Tex's home and got to know him a bit -- what a great and genuine guy. Thanks again!

Thanks for settin' the record straight! My dream job would have been a rcord store or a DJ....Neither happened. Anyways, thanks for the feedback and hope to hear from ya again,
Cam
This is so amazing! I've been on the hunt for this since I heard The Planet Rockers' version of 'Lone Wolf' and Go Cat Go's version of 'Hot Rod Man'.
