Til' Tuesday Live- Westwood One Vinyl LP Rip

Here is a post of an audio rip from the CD that I recorded of my Til' Tuesday Live- Westwood One Vinyl LP.
I purchased this LP years ago at the Record and Tape Exchange in College Park, MD. I bought over 500 vinyl LP's from this guy. Sad to say he is out of business. If only he had held out long enough to get into selling his stuff on line.
I looked for my LP today for more information, but can't find it. Anyway, this is a pretty good show from Aimee Mann and company.

I am on vacation right now and am using someone elses computer, so I can't download this right now. But I will as soon as I get a chance. Years ago, I was 'Til Tuesday at a concert in a small venue in Dallas, TX. UNBELIEVABLE! Their guitarist was one of the best guitarists I've ever heard. And althouth Aimee wasn't as confidant as she is now, they really did a great job. If this recording captures what I heard that night, I can't wait to hear it. Thanks for posting it.

I can only hope this concert meets your expectations. It's a vinyl rip from a Westwood One show and the sound is Pre-FM Quality. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting this one, but it's been deleted by RS. Any chance of a repost?

Hello,
I wonder if perhaps you have (and would be willing to post) a copy of the extended version of TT's "What About Love?" It was the B-side on the 12" Voices Carry. I've only seen one copy, and it was too damaged to play.

Cheers,
Brian M

Wow, late to the game, can't wait to hear this... once upon a time I had the 1985 Ritz show in NY on VHS... incredible versions of all the songs. Stumbled on this, looking for that... thanks a bunch!

Great concert recorded for King Biscuit Flower Hour Nov 28, 1986 at the Empire Rock Club in Philadelphia, PA. For more info and to stream the complete concert go to Wolfgang's Vault at http://www.wolfgangsvault.com/til-tuesday/concerts/empire-rock-club-november-28-1986.html#

Hi all -

I downloaded this concert quite a while back and enjoy it very much. Since then I've gotten more into concert recordings. Thank you very much for ripping this vinyl WVKayaker and making it available to everyone!

I just wanted to let all readers of this post know that this and many other concerts are available at several other websites for sharing with BitTorrent. This exact show is available in near CD quality.

Til Tuesday Empire Rock Club Philadelphia 1986

If anyone wants to know more about that scene just enter the query below into the biggest internet search engine. You will be directed to a post that describes the concert recording sharing Internet scene in further detail. I'm not a member of the website, but I thought the posting rather well described how to get into this scene. Everything on this sort of website is free .. there is no profit motive involved.

site:ultimate-guitar.com "unofficial live recordings" "introducing torrents"

BTW - The comment immediately above was obviously left by Wolfgang's Vault seeking to promote their business. They are at least a somewhat for profit website.

Again, WVKayaker, thanks for ripping and sharing your special vinyl. In the net concert sharing scene this sort of rip is called "Pre-FM." If you want you can find me on those concert websites.

Best,
mrpete

Thank you so much! I'm going to take a stab at "remastering" the recording to see if I can get it to sound a little more like studio quality. I've remastered a few other Til Tuesday recordings, if you want to check them out.

What This Is All About

I've been collecting live music from various sources since the mid to late 70's. Radio shows, TV broadcasts, radio show pre-FM CD's and vinyl LP's and some trades. Most of the shows posted here, I recorded and ripped myself. I always had top of the line stereo equipment and cassette and open reel recorders for those on air broadcasts.

I've downloaded plenty of bootlegged concerts from various blogs. As a rule I will only post stuff from my collection and not what is already available out there.

I also post out of print CDs and LPs from my collection.
I will repost from my readers anything someone sends me as long as it is either out of print or something that's not from someone else's blog. If you want to share a link for a cool item on your blog, or someone else's, please feel free to post it in the comments........

Enjoy and please leave a comment and pass this blog along.

Can you believe that so many out there are starving for the old WHFS? Amazing!

If you leave a comment, how about using a nickname instead of Anonymous. At least make up something please. Thanks!

I have reconsidered my position...and will re-upload dead links, so long as you go to that particular post and make the request from the comments page...
