I want to say thanks again to Robbie for sharing these tapes.
This tape from Diane is very fine indeed. It's got great mid 80's tunes 'HFS was pioneering back in the day.  Along with some all time favorites of mine.

    Jim/Kayaker, listening to this tape from May 1985 now....cool to hear Diane doing an evening shift at HFS....that segue from the Jason and The Scorchers "Hot Night in Georgia" into the Neville Bros. doing "Fever" was a classic! This is what made HFS so amazing. I am enjoying all the postings on your blog from 2015. Glad I surfed in the other day!

    Yes, me too! Always in a 'sense of wonder' and amazement on how great the variety on HFS was......to have Little Feat/Neville Brothers and XTC/Martha and the Muffins/New Order in the same hour! What a great mix of music they played!
