WHFS 991.1FM Adelle Abrams July and August 1988

Robbie sent me these files some time ago. There are two 90 minute tapes, 3 hours straight, from July 30th 1988, two 90 minute tapes, 3 hours straight, from August 6th 1988, and one 45 minute tape from August 13th 1988.   Adelle was one of my favorites and it was a delight to hear her again.

    Hi. Just came across your intriguing blog site. I wondered if, among your live recordings, you had "Understanding Nothing" (Bruce Cockburn), or "Our House" (Graham Nash) from the early 80s (I think, but I've a terrible memory) –– anyway, the "Our House" version came from a Pete Fornatale interview with Graham Nash (WNEW?) ... unless it was maybe Jonathan Schwartz.

    The Cockburn song exists (with very low volume) on a youtube posting of an in-studio WFUV performance; I'm just looking for a live version that I won't have to tinker with to up the volume. The Graham Nash song was a terrific version, one I used to kick myself for because I hadn't taped it at the time. I remember that at the end of it, Fornatale (or Schwartz) sighed, "... rock n' roll heaven."
