Had to combine two files from a music CDR of a tape sent in with the tapes from Tom of Kensington to produce this one file. Too bad it ran out before I could catch the rundown from Weasel. One of the tunes I am curious about is, what is probably what Queen covered, "Crazy Little Thing Called Love"...would like to know who that original artist was...
Anyways it's a nice line up great tunes,
The Pole Cats, Nervous Eaters, Mickey Jump. Joe King Carossco, The Stones, The Marvelettes, Martha Reeves, The Belle Stars, Little Anna Bella, Billy Idol, Men Without Hats and more...

ReplyDeleteThanks again and Merry Christmas! You have made my holidays a great one. I was so sad to read about Bob Showacre passing on back in September. I got nostalgic to hear his voice and his Christmas show. it's been an annual tradition for me since 2007 to listen to this show!
ReplyDeleteThanks again for all you have done to share your tapes and WHFS memories.

The other files were in a different folder. Took me a while to find them in the 17 CDs (folders) that Bob (note Here) shared with me. The passing of Bob "Here" was a sad one for sure. Glad you can listen to these again. And a Merry one to you too VanFan.
ReplyDeleteThanks again. Looks like the only file missing is 12-24-86 A. It must be on CD 4. If you have time, I would love it if you'd zippy that one as well. I now have B, C, and D. Just need "A" and I have the whole enchilada. Again, thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteVanFan
It was in CD 4
