This is a great tape with familiar tunes that anyone listening back in the day will enjoy. Nothing exotic or weird, just a solid block of great music from D.J. Tom T. A couple of 12" singles add extra interest and the constant reference to the music being played on 'compact disc' is rather humorous...
I took a guess at the date...
EDIT: I dated the files 1983 by mistake. I reloaded them with the proper info.

ReplyDeleteListening now. Awesome
ReplyDeleteDamn -- I miss HFS!
ReplyDeleteJust started listening to this again, and it IS awesome (JEB is RIGHT)
It is funny how some of these songs ended up in my personal JAM tapes (of course, I had to go out and FIND/Buy the albums, but that was always the fun part (going to the "Feather" -- which I heard an ad on here for -- and just rummaging through the "cutouts" to see what we could find...)
Every time I hear a song I think is "the best", I hear the next song and it is even better...
What a high I get from listening to these tapes... Thanks again CB... these are terrific to listen to (again and again).
Dave B.
They certainly are Dave!
