    You can tell by the smudged ink on the tapes that these have been "played" quite a bit... :)

    This was probably the "worst" quality tape of the bunch... that damn static in the middle of "Cynical Girl" made me long for more Marshall Crenshaw!!! So sorry about that folks -- definitely winter, because the static was generated by our furnace -- I don't know why we wanted to keep warm when we had HFS on the radio!!!

    oh well -- I was wondering when that would come up... I couldn't remember which tape it was on, but the mystery is solved.

    BTW - that is good guesswork on the date... it is so hard to tell why I did some with the dates, and others without... some with dolby on, some with dolby off... [sigh] -- adolescent confusion... Dave B
