First time he came to DC, he canceled. I went to see him at a local record shop and told him about it. "Sorry about that mate.''
ReplyDeleteI thought that Repeat When Necessary album was incredible. Super talent. Another good post; thanks

boll,
ReplyDeletewas that cancelled concert supposed to be at Richie Coliseum at the UofMD? 1983 I believe...
We showed up for the show and no one was in the parking lot, and we thought, oh shit....saw a sign on the door showing the show was cancelled.
Good memory. Actually, bad memory since he didn't show up. In better news (worse), I did see Queen and Thin Lizzy at Richie. Both lead singers now deceased.

Another good memory...We exchanged our Dave Edmunds tickets for Azia at Merriweather...Shameful
ReplyDeleteI actually bought an Asia album. I played it at home and became physically ill. I returned it to the store and told them it stunk. The store only gave me a mild hard time. I guess they understood.
