Laughing Colors: The Pattern Seed

The Pattern Seed features many LC listeners’ favorite songs. Highlight tracks include “Wrinkle”, “Sense”, and “Big One, Small One”. “Wrinkle” is featured on the HFS New Rock Sampler, and is the first and only track by an unsigned band to be included on the compilation. “Wrinkle” was also voted “Song of the Year” by Music Monthly. “Jigsaw” is the theme music for the Maryland Wrestling Association, and has been featured in televised extreme sporting events. According to LC frontman Dave Tieff, “this album is based on the idea that everyone has a way of going about their dailylives. Most people start out the same way, but then they evolve… It’s not a concept album, but there is definitely a thread running through the lyrics and songs.”
