3 Mary Chapin Carpenter Austin City Limits Shows

In this post is an audio rip of three Mary Chapin Carpenter shows from Austin City Limits. Like Joan Osbourne, Mary Chapin Carpenter is so much deeper then her hits. IMO, a very talented singer song writer. Top notch music and singing here.

  1. Sweet. MCC was my first taste of country, never got to see her in concert so this is a nice find.

  2. I've seen her a few times. She always had a great band and put on a good show. Thanks for checking in bud!

  4. Is there any chance you might be able to share the video of these? Hard to enjoy just the audio when I know there's supposed to be visuals that go along with it...no offense. But you're so lucky to have these concerts taped. I wish they'd get released on dvd so I could buy them.

  5. May I suggest buying a dvd recorder so you can back up your vhs tapes on a format that won't wear out? I've done it with my precious TV recordings, because you just can't count on an official release. They even make dvd recorders with built-in vhs players to make it extra easy to transfer! After that it's pretty easy to take your DVD-R, pop it in your 'puter and convert it to an AVI or WMV or whatever you like. :)

Here's info on another one that's supposed to be good (but I haven't tried it myself):
