THIS IS MY LAST WHFS TAPE FROM THE BETHESDA DAYS WHFS 102.3FM DAVID 02-07-1983 2:45-4:30PM
I cringe when I stumble onto another recording from WHFS where I f--ked up and used my graphics equalizer on. I did my best to reverse the damage, but you can tell. It's not terrible, just, to my ears, it's sounds a bit different. You be the judge.
I took this CD, recorded 5 years ago straight from the open reel tape, then today I ripped it to my hard drive, played it back using Windows Media Player with reversed equalizer settings, and used Total Recorder Software to re-record it. A tedious process, but the sound is way better then the CD.
Thankfully I recorded with the equalizer on only a handful of times.
This open reel tape of David, recorded Monday Afternoon on Feb 07 1983 is too good of a show to pass up so here it is.
