A couple of friends and I (mid 50s) are trying to remember if Weasel had an intro theme song, or was it just the Pop Goes The Weasel melody and then he went into his rap. We’re talking about when he was high atop the Triangle Towers on 102.3 at 1:00 A.M. If anyone has a recording of Weasel’s intro, or could help us remember if he had one it would be greatly appreciated.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
Good luck with that...all I remember is Pop Goes The Weasel
ReplyDeleteIt was a cajun song. Mostly instrumental with an occasional yell. We always thought it sounded like Fuuuuuuuuuk Youuuuuu !
ReplyDeleteI'd like to find it as well.
I think it was actually Damien on his way out the door with "Two-Step de Palten," by Cajun accordionist Ambrose
ReplyDeleteThibodeaux.
Now that makes sense!
ReplyDeleteWell that does make sense.
