WHFS 99.1 Weasel: All Xmas Tunes 12-23-1983

Sorry, I'm not a big fan of Christmas music. After about 15 minutes of this, I had to put it on auto pilot and listen to some Bruce Cockburn. Anyways, it's all whacky Christmas music Weasel put together in '83. Save it for the holidays if you dare. Hell, it's even got Root Boy doing Xmas at Kmart!

WHFS 99.1 Susan & Mark 03-30-31-1985

Thanks go out again to Robbie and his Takoma Park buddy for sharing these amazing tapes! 1st up of the fourteen they shared, Susan & Mark from March 30th and 31st 1985. Great stuff and sound is excellent!

WLOM 99.1 Weasel, Halloween Set, Then Bob Here 10-31-1983

Robbie sent 14 new WHFS Tapes for me to rip and post here on the blog.
Also a couple CD's of tapes from WLOM 99.1, the brief precursor of WHFS prior to the call letter change to WHFS.
This tape is from Oct 31 1983. I don't have time to hear it, but if it's Weasel, and Halloween, it should be interesting. Then, Side B is Bob Here spinning the tunes. If you want to know what's on it you have to download and listen to it.
I'll be ripping those tapes and posting them over the next few weeks. Stay tuned

What This Is All About

I've been collecting live music from various sources since the mid to late 70's. Radio shows, TV broadcasts, radio show pre-FM CD's and vinyl LP's and some trades. Most of the shows posted here, I recorded and ripped myself. I always had top of the line stereo equipment and cassette and open reel recorders for those on air broadcasts.

I've downloaded plenty of bootlegged concerts from various blogs. As a rule I will only post stuff from my collection and not what is already available out there.

I also post out of print CDs and LPs from my collection.
I will repost from my readers anything someone sends me as long as it is either out of print or something that's not from someone else's blog. If you want to share a link for a cool item on your blog, or someone else's, please feel free to post it in the comments........
